Hi All,

Over the weekend while I envied all the ones who were at the market, (I hope they come back with goodies for me) I worked on my version of the Sugar Bloom quilt along.  I am following along with Heather of the The Sewing Loft http://thesewingloftblog.com/.

Please see a few pictures of my progress.

I haven't decided on a backing yet.  Yesterday, I was thinking I would go with the gray.  Today I thinking I would choose one of the pastels to make it more colorful.  

I'm also trying to decide what to do with the quilting.  I would love to try some stipple, but I don't think I'm good enough.  Maybe if I do a couple practice sandwiches first.  Otherwise I am think will maybe do stitch in the ditch.  I have a new machine and I haven't tried the foot that was provided with it.
